Telehealth Visits
Convenient care and guidance from home when appropriate

When Telehealth May Be Appropriate
Telehealth visits are offered for specific follow-up care when an in-person visit is not necessary. At Children’s Health Services, telehealth is currently used for ADHD follow-up appointments, based on provider approval.
Telehealth is not a replacement for routine well visits or sick care. Your provider will determine whether a telehealth visit is appropriate based on your child’s age, medical history, and care needs.
What to Expect From a Telehealth Visit
A telehealth visit is a scheduled appointment conducted through a secure video platform. These visits are focused and designed to provide efficient follow-up care.
- Review symptoms and medical history
- Visually assess your child when appropriate
- Discuss treatment or next steps
- Determine whether in-person care is needed
Telehealth visits allow families to connect with their provider without coming into the office when follow-up care can be handled safely and effectively from home.
Scheduling a Telehealth Appointment
Telehealth visits are scheduled appointments and must be approved by your child’s provider.
To request a telehealth visit:
- Call our office during regular business hours, or
- If your child is an established telehealth patient, log in to the patient portal to request an appointment
Telehealth is available only for established patients who have ongoing care and consistent follow-ups with their provider. Our staff will guide you through scheduling and next steps if telehealth is recommended.
